Pewter Art Deco Tea Set 1920s

£68.00

This elegant Pewter Art Deco Tea Set contains 4 pieces, and was hand hammered in Sheffield England in the 1920s. Comprising of a rimmed tray by Knighthood, number 3660 to the base, teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl. The hammer work and stylish design are iconic of the era, and the pewter teapot has a black bakelite handle and knop to the lid. This antique / vintage tea set is a usable item or would look stunning as part of your vintage home decor, or as a stand-alone statement piece. There is some tannin staining to the inside of the teapot which is not unusual for a pre-loved teapot, and the tray has a small area where it has been caught or rubbed at some time. This being said, the set is in good condition and only shows signs of use commensurate with age. It’s definitely our cup of tea!
